RMH Receives “Best Digital Workplace” Award

RMH is pleased to announce that the hospital recently received the “Best Digital Workplace” award during the Inaugural Internal Communication Awards Ceremony at the Staffbase VOICES conference. RMH was nominated for the award from among other users of the Staffbase app, including the Adidas, Audi and Vestas corporations, as well as UC Health. The award recognized the extent to which the app has been adopted for internal use, as well as the new and innovating ways in which it is being used.

The app, which is labeled “myRMH”,  was adopted in late 2019, just months before the arrival of Covid-19. The app has transformed internal communications at the hospital, allowing team members to communicate with each other in real time. In 2020, it was particularly helpful in keeping team members informed of the ongoing pandemic situation. As of January 2021, the app also helps RMH stay in touch with our patients and our community. Those who download the app have instant access to news from the hospital, including:

• “To Your Health”, the bi-weekly RMH podcast
• “My Health Matters”, the RMH health and wellness newsletter, featuring three sets of topics: “Wellness”, “Parenting for Health” and “Diabetic and Heart Health”.
• The RMH Patient Portal
